The FAA fires two more air traffic controllers after yet another mistake. This time the mistake put the lives of the first lady and the vice president in harms way. There was an emergency landing for the first lady because an air traffic controller told the pilot the wrong rnu way. No one was hurt and both the vice president and the first lady are safe.

I think the FAA just to clean house. They need to get rid of the controllers that are causing the problems. It is not worth giving people a chance if lives are on the line. They need to also give them more breaks and shorter shirtd. They need to find a way to fix this so the next time it is not the president that they put in harms way.
I agree with Jack. I think that because there are so many lives at stake, the FFA should fire those who do not take their jobs seriously. Their jobs involve concentration, focus, and caution. If the people flying the planes cannot handle these components, they should not have taken this job in the first place. The FFA is doing the right thing by firing these people because they are putting other peoples' lives at risk by being careless.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with Jack. The lives at steak are much to important to not fire the FFA employees. They need to regroup an hire new people who take the job seriously.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jack. The FAA needs to give the air traffic controllers more breaks and shorter shifts so these problems do not keep happening. New people who will actually come to work to work instead of sleep need to be hired.
ReplyDeleteHow about they just do their job. Firefighters have longer shifts and you don't read about them falling asleep and not protecting society. Get a clue.
ReplyDeleteI agree with jack. The air traffic controllers should get more breaks considering the long hours they work. One simple mistake in there job could cost people there life.
