Members of congress are allowed to see the corpse of bin Laden. They the rest of America will most likely have to wait decades to see the photos. They are taking turns going to CIA headquarters to see them. They say it is too risky and not safe to release the photos at this moment.

I think they should release the pictures. I think America deserves to know that he is really dead. The Al-Queda are going to be mad either way. They are mad about everything about the killing and the burial of bin Laden. Releasing photos will not make a difference.

People have been making a big deal about Donald Trump driving the pace car at the Indianapolis 500. They do not think he is worthy after making all these false claims about the President. His fan rating is dropping and many people are disappointed in him. They do are voicing their opinions and he fired right back saying he does not care.

Trump says he does not care that people do not want him to drive the pace car. I do not blame him for saying these things. As an American citizen and presidentail nominee, he has the right to call whatever he wants into question regarding the President. He can make any claim that he wants within the law. Driving the pace car has nothing to do with what he said about Obama. It is simply driving a pace car at the Indy 500. People are making a big deal out of nothing.

The NFL's appeal was denied to them by the appeals court. The lockout remains lifted and the players are allowed to go to their team's training facilities. The owners and the NFL tried getting the lockout back, but they were unsuccessful. They are still trying to negotiate terms and now they are being made to hold meetings involving the lockout.

The NFL needs to figure things our and they need to do it fast. It is a good thing that the lockout got lifted. It is not right for players that are still under contract to be locked out of their team's facilities. The team should want their players in there still training. They need to be ready to get going when everything gets resumed once again. They might start to lose fan support if the back and forth stuff continues much longer.

The FAA fires two more air traffic controllers after yet another mistake. This time the mistake put the lives of the first lady and the vice president in harms way. There was an emergency landing for the first lady because an air traffic controller told the pilot the wrong rnu way. No one was hurt and both the vice president and the first lady are safe.

I think the FAA just to clean house. They need to get rid of the controllers that are causing the problems. It is not worth giving people a chance if lives are on the line. They need to also give them more breaks and shorter shirtd. They need to find a way to fix this so the next time it is not the president that they put in harms way.

The FAA is giving air traffic controllers an extra hour of sleep between shirts. They are hoping that this will cut down on the amount of controllers that doze off. There has been multiple cases just recently of planes emergency landing or coming in on the wrong run way because of contollers dozing off.

I personally do not think this one extra hour will make a difference. If they really want to make a difference, they should take shifts and hire more traffic controllers. Shorter shifts will help on the dozing off and also cut back on the accidents and emergency landings.

Government Spending

http://content.usatoday.net/dist/custom/gci/InsidePage.aspx?cId=indystar&sParam=36220707.storyThe government is at a standoff and neither party is will come to an agreement. Obama is trying to pull them together. The are trying to reach an agreement by Sunday.

I think Congress are acting like a bunch kids. Neither side wants to let the other win. They both are trying to show their power and it is only hurting everyine else. They need to come to an agreement because it is not fair for all the goverment paid workers. They deserve a pay check and they work hard for one. Congress owes them that.

Gadhafi wages war on the world and says that it will be a long war. The U.S. begins air strikes and allied forces join in. They are stepping in to help rebel forces.

I think it is good that the U.N. is finally stepping in and helping the rebels. Gadhafi is crazy and needs to be removed from power. I am surprised it took this long to realize that we needed to step in. I also think it will be a short war. We will not this thing get out of hand and we will put an end to his army quickly.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d81eb6e46/article/league-locks-out-players-after-union-decertifies?module=HP_headlines

The NFL is now in a lock out and the Players Union desertified. The players had to split up so that the players can sue the NFL owners. Manning, Brees, and Brady have joined to head the lawsuit. They could not reach an agreement.

Even though it is sad to see the NFL not playing, I agree with the players standing up for themselves. The owners make alot of money and it time for them to share the wealth. There are players in the NFL that live on the League minimum and they are having a tough time getting by. The owners make so much revenue from TV, merchandise, etc. They need to figure out a way to so everyone is happy. I hope they come to agreements sooner rather than later.
